When working with me, we’ll start with an initial intake to explore your goals and challenges at your pace. I believe therapy should feel natural and laid-back, so there’s no pressure to follow a rigid structure. Our sessions will flow in a way that feels comfortable for you, allowing us to work toward your goals in an effortless, collaborative manner. That said, I will also gently challenge you when needed and won’t simply agree for the sake of it—ensuring our work aligns with sound clinical perspectives and supports your growth. Hello, I'm Danielle.

I grew up as the youngest of five kids with four older brothers, which taught me resilience, patience, and the ability to find my voice even when it wasn’t the loudest in the room! My mom used to tell me from a young age, “You’d make a great therapist.” At the time, I didn’t think too much of it—probably too busy keeping up with my brothers or trying to understand why everyone felt the way they did!

As I got older, I found myself naturally drawn to listening and helping others work through their problems, whether it was friends at school or family at home. People seemed to feel comfortable opening up to me, and I genuinely loved being there for them. My curiosity about the mind and heart only grew, so it was no surprise when I ended up studying psychology. That path led me to the University of Miami for my master’s, where I gained the skills and certifications, I needed to do what I love every day.

Through it all, I’ve realized that therapy is as much about guidance as it is about listening. I think my early life experiences taught me that sometimes just being there, fully present, can make a big difference in someone’s life. Being a therapist feels like a calling that I was lucky enough to find and follow.
