At Talk Therapy Solutions, we are committed to transparency and ensuring that our clients are informed about their rights under the No Surprises Act. This federal law, effective January 1, 2022, provides protections against unexpected medical bills and ensures that individuals receiving health care services, including mental health services, are aware of their financial responsibilities.

Your Rights Under the No Surprises Act
 1. Good Faith Estimate (GFE)
 • You have the right to receive a written Good Faith Estimate of the expected costs for psychotherapy services provided by Talk Therapy Solutions.
 • This estimate will include an itemized list of services and their costs, helping you understand and plan for expenses before starting treatment.
 2. Protection from Surprise Billing
 • If you are uninsured or choose to pay out of pocket, the Good Faith Estimate ensures you are not subject to unexpected charges.
 • For insured individuals, the No Surprises Act protects you from being billed for more than your in-network cost-sharing amounts when receiving care from out-of-network providers under certain circumstances.
 3. Clear Communication
 • We strive to communicate any changes to your treatment plan or associated costs promptly and transparently.

Accessing Your Good Faith Estimate
 • Upon scheduling your first appointment or at your request, we will provide a Good Faith Estimate in compliance with federal regulations.
 • If you receive a bill that is $400 or more than the Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the charges.
